COVID-19 Prayer Initiative
Every Monday to Thursday at 9:00 am, 1:00 pm & 7:00 pm
We are clearly living in historic, difficult and unprecedented times. A time of global uncertainty, a time of increasing confusion, a time of escalating fears, but also a time of great hope, knowing that the God of heaven and earth is powerfully working behind the scenes to accomplish His purposes.
It is important for us at this strategic time to seek the Lord, to study His Word and to cry out to Him for wisdom in order that we might discern His good, perfect and pleasing will through the bewildering and ever-changing measures implemented day by day.
Enoch and I have been fervently seeking the Lord Jesus to help us discern His purposes in order to determine how PBC should respond at this time in our history (1 Chron 12:32).
We believe that it is during such times of social distancing and escalating fear we need to seek the Lord. In light of the current situation, we are committing to pray more intentionally in the upcoming weeks. In order to make this happen in a coordinated way we are hosting sessions of prayer on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The first session of the day will begin at 9:00 am, followed by the second session at 1:00 pm and the final session of each day will be held at 7:00 pm. Due to the risk associated with group gatherings, and the measures Alberta Public Health officials have put in place, we are conducting these prayer sessions online through a video conference call. To join the online meeting, please contact us by phone, text or email and we will send you a link to the meeting. Or you can simply click on the link below and it will take you to the meeting.
