Peace River Bible Institute
Founded in 1934, Peace River Bible Institute is an interdenominational evangelical bible college located in Sexsmith, Alberta. PRBI is authorized to grant degrees by the province of Alberta and all degrees major in Bible. PRBI is able to grant four-year degrees, accepted at most seminaries across Canada and the USA. The three-year BBS degree is also accepted at a number of seminaries.
PRBI’s mission is to train students in a thorough knowledge of the Word of God and train students to become ministers, whether at home or abroad. PRBI values Christ above all things, and students receive Biblical training, have opportunities for Kingdom service, develop authentic relationships and are mentored to discover their place in the church and in the world.
PRBI has also integrated service projects into their Community Life Groups, consisting of about 7 students each, both for the men and the women. These Life Groups are to foster relationships, spiritual encouragement and collaborative service.
